Aquarium Aims to Become Coney Island Icon
As part of an overhaul of the New York Aquarium at Coney Island, the Wildlife Conservation Society plans to build a 1,100-foot-long “shimmer wall” along the boardwalk, make of 43,000 aluminum panels that reflect colored light and sway in the breeze.
